PHILADELPHIA - Temple continues its road stretch with a short trip down to Washington, D.C. to take on the Georgetown Hoyas on Tuesday, Nov. 30 at 5:00pm. The game is scheduled to air on FloSports.

LAST GAME
> In their first Big 5 game of the season, the Owls got the better of the Villanova Wildcats, winning by a score of 68-62 in a back and forth affair.
> After three quarters, the two sides entered the final period all tied up. The Wildcats took the early advantage in the fourth quarter, going on a 6-0 run in the opening two minutes. The Owls were able to battle back, however, ending the game on a 20-8 run to beat Villanova.
> Four Owls scored in double-figures, led by freshman Aniya Gourdine who scored 17 points in 27 minutes.
> Guards Jasha Clinton and Jalynn Holmes made life difficult for the Villanova guards, recording four steals apiece. Clinton added 11 points.

THE OWLS
> Last week, the Owls split games against Princeton and Villanova, winning the latter game against the Wildcats for their first Big 5 win of the season.
> Against the Wildcats, Mia Davis became Temple's second-most points getter in school history. Through six games this season, Davis is averaging 15.7 points per game and 7.0 rebounds per game, leading the team in both categories.
> Gourdine was named this week's AAC Freshman of the Week after averaging 13.0 points per game last week. Gourdine scored a season-high 17 points against Villanova on 5-6 shooting and 2-3 from three-point land.
> Senior Alexa Williamson scored 16 points against Villanova on 50% shooting. Williamson leads the team in blocked shots per game as a crucial block with under two minutes remaining against the Wildcats virtually sealed the game.

SCOUTING GEORGETOWN
> After a two-game skid earlier in the season, the Hoyas got back on track last Wednesday, topping Loyola at home, 66-55.
> Georgetown is led by graduate Milan Bolden-Morris who averages a team-high 14.6 points per game on 49% shooting from three-point range.
> The Hoyas boast a balanced scoring attack as four players average more than nine points per game.

LAST TIME THEY MET
> The last time that Temple faced off against the Hoyas, the Owls cruised to a convincing 81-58 win back in 2014.
> Five Owls scored in double-figures as Tyonna Williams led the way with 21 points, draining five three-pointers in the process.
> Guard Erica Covile recorded a double-double, scoring 10 points and grabbing 12 rebounds.

UP NEXT
> The Owls continue their road stretch with a visit to Duquesne on Sunday, Dec. 5 at 1:00pm.
> The game will air on ESPN+.
