Murray Littlepage Selected For Learfield EDGE Academy

PHILADELPHIA – Murray Littlepage, Assistant Athletics Director, Marketing & Fan Engagement, has been selected to participate in the 2021 Annual Learfield EDGE (Empowering Diversity Growth & Equity) Academy, in partnership with the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA).
"I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in the Learfield EDGE Academy and to represent Temple University athletics. I am looking forward to learning alongside some of the best in the industry. In addition, I am excited to develop new skills that I can use to enhance what we already do at Temple and to engage our great fan base and community." said Littlepage.
Littlepage was selected following an application process and review by the Academy committee. He will be one of 17 individuals who have been invited to attend this year's virtual-based gathering. The Academy was designed to foster minority growth and development in the collegiate multimedia and sponsorship sector.
According to the official release, the Learfield event features sessions dedicated to building personal branding and enhancing skills in sales, marketing, and software engineering. There will also be an optional opportunity for onsite staff shadowing at Learfield partner collegiate institutions and affiliated companies.
In partnership with the National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics (NACDA), the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association promotes equitable employment opportunities for minorities in the athletics industry through the exchange of ideas, the creation of networking opportunities, and the avocation of an increase in employment for minorities in athletics administration positions at all levels of the sports industry. The association also promotes cultivating a sports environment that supports the values necessary to accept aspiring professionals from all walks of life.
