Track & Field’s DMR to Race at Camel City Invite

PHILADELPHIA – The distance medley relay squad of Helene Gottlieb, Léa Kerbiriou, Alanna Lally and Marissa White will represent the Temple track and field team Friday, Feb. 19 at the Camel City Invitational in Winston-Salem, N.C.
About the Camel City Invitational
> The Camel City Invitational is hosted by JDL Fast Track.
> The DMR will begin at 7 p.m. on Friday evening.
> Friday's race will be the first time the quartet of Gottlieb, Kerbiriou, Lally and White have raced together.
Individual Marks
> Individually, these four runners have shined throughout the two indoor meets the Owls have competed in thus far.
> Kerbiriou and Lally lead the American Athletic Conference with the top-two 800m times. Kerbiriou's mark 2:08.99 leads all runners, with Lally following close behind with her time of 2:09.24. Both runners collected these times for first and second place finishes, respectively, at the #HTownSpeedCity Series III on Feb. 13.
> Gottlieb finished third in the mile at the Feb. 13 meet with her time of 4:54.56, which also marks the third-best time in the AAC.
> White holds the seventh-best time in the conference in the 400m. Her mark of 56.14 at the #HTownSpeedCity Series III led her to a sixth-place finish in the event.
> Both Lally and White were members of the 4x400m relay team that finished fourth at the #HTownSpeedCity Series II meet on Jan. 29. Their time of 3:49.79 ranks fifth in the conference.
