More Records Broken for Track and Field at Final Day of Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. – The Temple track and field team wrapped up the final day of the Raleigh Relays with two more record-setting performances at the Paul H. Derr Track. The Owls head home with four new program-best marks in various events. 

Meet Highlights
> Alanna Lally finished fourth in the 800m as she broke Temple's record in the event with her personal-best mark of 2:05.50. The Galway, Ireland native broke teammate Helene Gottlieb's previous program-best record of 2:07.10. 
> Gottlieb also raced in today's 800m, where she finished 35th out of a pool of 67 runners with her time of 2:12.37.
> Emma Gee was the fourth Owl to break a program record over the three-day meet in Raleigh. Gee crossed the finish line at 10:11.48 to finish eighth in the 3000m steeplechase to break the previous record by 25 seconds. 

New Program Bests
> Temple broke four records over the course of the three-day Raleigh Relays. 
> Michelle Joyce - 35:09.98 in the 10,000m
> Grace Moore - 15:47.98 in the 5000m
> Alanna Lally - 2:05.50 in the 800m
> Emma Gee - 10:11.48 in the 3000m steeplechase
