Moore Named AAC Track Athlete of the Week

PHILADELPHIA – Redshirt senior Grace Moore was named the American Athletic Conference Women's Track Athlete of the Week after an impressive performance this past weekend at the Raleigh Relays.Â

Friday evening in Raleigh, Moore finished sixth out of 87 runners in the 5000m as she crossed the finish line at 15:47.98. The Merrick, N.Y. native broke former Temple All-American Blanca Fernandez's 2016 record of 16:09.84 to set a new program best in the event.
Temple returns to the track on Saturday, Apr. 3 at Penn's Big 5 Meet.Â
