Golf Remains in 4th Place at Connecticut Cup

ELLINGTON, Conn. – Sophomore Graham Chase led Temple Golf with an even-par 72 and the Owls remained in fourth place at the 12-team Connecticut Cup after the second round on Friday. As a team, the Owls were 11-over par (299) for the round and are one shot out of second place, but 17 back of the leader, Boston College.
Recapping the Day
> Chase, who recorded his first par round of the season, was solid all afternoon, making three pars and posting three bogeys. He also pulled even with senior Dawson Anders for the team lead with a five-over 149, tying for 12th overall.
> Anders shot a three-over 75 for his round and like Anders is only four shots behind the leader, Rider's Nathan Bazant (145). The Owls' captain had three birdies on the day.
> Junior Conor McGrath also carded a 75 and posted a team-high four birdies for his round. He is two shots back of his teammates and tied for 17th with a 151.
> Senior Peter Bradbeer only made one birdie on the day in shooting a five-over 77. He is tied for 21st overall with a 152.
> Junior Buddy Hansen rounded out the Owls starters with a nine-over 81 (164, t-73rd) while sophomore Andrew Curran also shot an 81 (76, 166) while playing as an individual.

> Boston College shot the best round of the day (291) and leads the field with an eight-over 584.
> Host UConn and Drexel (600) are tied for second, one shot ahead of Temple (601).
