The 2021 MVP is Julianna Roland!
A Lumberton, N.J. native, Roland was a major contributor in her first season as an Owl. The junior competed in every meet for Temple, racking up multiple EAGL honors. Roland was the 2021 EAGL Vault Champion, earning first team All-Tournament honors on all three events she competed (beam, floor, vault) at the conference meet. She also earned vault, beam, and floor All-EAGL honors in the regular season. In just her first semester as an Owl, she tied Temple's program record on vault with a 9.900, a score she achieved in two separate meets in 2021. Roland capped her outstanding season at the 2021 NCAA Regionals, where she recorded a 9.850 on vault, Temple's highest vault score in NCAA competition.
