Women's Rowing Faces La Salle and George Mason this Saturday

PHILADELPHIA - After opening medal season last weekend with the 38th Memorial Murphy Cup, Temple women's rowing heads back to the Schuylkill River this Saturday, Apr. 10 to face La Salle and George Mason starting at 1:20 p.m.
Last weekend, the team brought home two bronze medals from the Murphy Cup, competing in three of the four scheduled events. First up was the Varsity Four who finished fourth with a time of 7:42:50. This was followed by back-to-back eight boats, with the Second Varsity Eight earning a bronze medal against Penn and Drexel, and finishing with a time of 6:58:10. The Varsity Eight closed the competition, taking home the team's second bronze medal of the day, clocking in at 6:52:90.
Races will start this Saturday at 1:20 p.m. with the last one beginning at 2:20 p.m. First up for the Owls will be the Varsity Four at 1:20 p.m. This will be followed by back-to-back Varsity Eight races with the Second Varsity Eight at 1:40 p.m. and Varsity Eight at 2:00 p.m. Temple will finish the day with the Third Varsity/Novice Eight at 2:20 p.m.
