Jacksonville, Fla. – Alanna Lally secured a spot in the 800m semifinals at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field East Preliminary on Saturday, May 29 after finishing in the top 24 in today's first round race. 

The Race
> Lally ran in the sixth and final heat of the event, where she finished fourth with her time of 2:06.03. 
> The Galway, Ireland native's mark landed her 22nd overall out of the advancing 24 runners. 
 
Up Next
> Lally will race in the 800m semifinals Saturday evening at 7:35 p.m.
> Also competing on Saturday will be Aisha Brown in the high jump (1 p.m.), Emma Gee in the 3000m steeplechase (6:10 p.m.) and Grace Moore in the 5000m (8:30 p.m.).
