Record 19 from Gymnastics Earn WCGA Scholastic All-America Honors

PHILADELPHIA -- A program record 19 members of the Temple gymnastics team were named Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-Americans, announced today. As a team, the Owls compiled an impressive GPA of 3.678, which saw over 75% of the team achieve over a 3.50 GPA.

"I couldn't be more proud of this team," said head coach Josh Nilson. "They were champions in competition and in the classroom this season, which is not an easy feat! They have represented both the Athletics department and the University well and I am proud to be their coach."

Temple's 19 Academic All-Americans included four-time honorees and recent grads, Delaney Garin and Jordyn Oster. Rising senior Taylor Newland is a three-time award winner, while Madison Brooks, Faith Leary, Monica Servidio, and Jackie Terpak have all received the honor twice in their careers.
