Women's Cross Country is Set to Open Their 2021 Season at Temple Invite

PHILADELPHIA- The Temple women's cross country is set to start their 2021 season this Friday, Sept. 3. A shortened season in 2020-2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic forced the Owls to only compete in once race, the American Athletic Conference Championship. However, the Owls are back on for a full schedule this fall.

The Owls are set to open their season at Belmont Plateau on September 3 at 5:45 P.M. The Temple Invite will host Temple University, Rider University, Jefferson University, and Chestnut Hill College as they compete in a 6k race.

About the Temple Invite

The home meet will take place at Belmont Plateau. The women's 6K race is set to begin at 5:45 p.m.
Competing alongside the Owls are Rider, Jefferson, and Chestnut Hill.
Temple placed first at both the 2017 and 2018 Temple Invite.
