Golf Announces 2021 Fall Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – It has been two years since Temple played in a fall tournament, but that changes soon as the Owls are ready for some golf this fall as head coach Brian Quinn announced the team's 2021 fall schedule.
"We are really looking forward to this year," said Quinn. "Our guys have played well all summer and I feel good about this fall season. We have the makings of something special in 21-22."
Temple will compete in six tournaments during the semester with the team opening at the GolfWeek Fall Challenge on Sept. 12-14.
The Owls, which are coming off a spring 2021campaign that featured six Top 10 finishes in seven tournaments, will travel to Ithaca, N.Y. to compete in the Cornell Invitational on Sept. 19-20 for their second event.
The next destination for the Owls finds them in the mountains of Apalachin, N.Y., competing in the Matthews Auto Collegiate on Oct. 3-4. A week later Temple travels to Burlington, N.C. to face off in the Phoenix Invitational on Oct. 11-12.
Temple wraps up its fall season with a west coast trip to Stockton, Calif. to compete in the Visit Stockton Invitational on Oct. 21-23 before returning to the Philadelphia area for its final tournament, the City 6 to be held at Llanerch Country Club on Oct. 30.
The Owls return eight members from last year's squad led by their top two golfers, senior Dawson Anders and junior Conor McGrath. Anders, a two-time team captain, averaged 74.06 strokes per round, while McGrath led the Owls and earned Ping All-Region accolades with a 73.61 strokes per round.
