Mike Eijgendaal Earns AAC Weekly Honor Roll

IRVING, Texas- After scoring his second goal in four games Friday forward Mike Eijgendaal has been named to the American Athletic Conference weekly honor roll. For Eijgendaal, it is the first time he has been named to the AAC honor roll this year following him earning Second Team All-Conference honors at the conclusion of last season.
Eijgendaal scored Temple's only goal in a 4-1 loss against UCF. Mickael Borger found Chaim Roserie who continued the ball on into the box where it was perfectly placed for a driving Eijgendaal. The 2020-21 second-team All-Conference forward found an opening on the right side of the goal and tapped the ball home for his second goal of the season. Eijgendaal is now tied for the team lead in goals, assists, and points.
Temple (1-3-2) will be back in action Wednesday at 7 p.m. as they host Memphis (1-6-1) in an AAC showdown. The match will be streamed on ESPN+, attendance is free to all fans.
