Temple Women's Basketball Particpates in AAC Media Day

PHILADELPHIA – The Temple women's basketball team participated in the American Athletic Conference's annual basketball media day. Women's basketball head coach Diane Richardson, as well as players Aleah Nelson and Jalynn Holmes, fielded questions from the media, as well as conference representatives on the upcoming basketball season. Temple begins a new era under the direction of Coach Richardson. The Owls' head coach compiled an 80-66 overall record over five years as the bench boss at Towson, leading the Tigers to more postseason appearances (2) in her time at the helm than in the program's previous 49 seasons of existence (1). Temple has reloaded on talent, with the addition of six transfers including two players who earned All-Colonial Athletic Conference honors at their last stops. The Owls also return six players from last season, all of whom saw significant playing time in the 2021-22 campaign.
