LYNCHBURG, Va. - The Temple field hockey team fell 1-0 at No. 16 Liberty Friday afternoon, dropping its second league match of the year. The Owls are now 10-4 (3-2 BIG EAST) and sit fourth in the conference standings.

Recapping the Game
> The Flames controlled the first quarter, firing four shots and earning two corners, but were unable to find the back of the cage.
> Temple had the offensive edge in the second frame, drawing three corners and forcing two Liberty saves, but neither team was able to get on the board.
> The lone goal of the game came at the end of the third quarter, with Jodie Connolly converting on a penalty corner.
