Women’s Cross Country Places 16th at Penn State National Open

University Park, Pa. – Temple Women's Cross Country placed 16th out of 18 teams at the Penn State National Open Friday. The Owls were short a couple of their key contributors in the high-level meet, which featured seven Power-Six schools. Temple's Laura Nicholson (28) and Elvira Bredin (49) both earned top 50 finishes.
West Virginia won the meet with host Penn State placing second. Northeastern, Georgia Tech, and Columbia rounded out the top 5.
