"Todays race did not go as planned; we fell short of our expectation as a team. However, we did have some noteworthy individual performances. I'm very proud of Laura Nicholson, who ran tough to earn all-conference honors. Elvira Bredin was just outside the top 20 and has been a key contributor for us all season. We need to keep working to turn our individual success into team success. Building a program takes time and effort but I'm confident our ladies will make that jump within the next year. We will take the result in our stride this year and return next year stronger and better prepared to take on some of the stronger teams in the conference. "
