Nicholson Earns All-Conference at American Conference Championships

TULSA, Ok. – Temple Women's Cross Country's Laura Nicholson earned All-Conference honors as she placed 14^th place at the American Athletic Conference Championship Meet. Down two key contributors, the Owls placed 10^th out of 11 teams. In addition to Nicholson, Elvira Bredin also shined with a 21^st place finish. Bredin placed second out of all freshmen who competed.

Tulsa won the meet with 37 points. SMU (66) and Cincinnati (95) rounded out the top three.

We need to keep working to turn our individual success into team success. Building a program takes time and effort but I'm confident our ladies will make that jump within the next year.
