SCOUTING STONY BROOK
> Stony Brook put up a winning record of 8-6-1 in 2021, its first since 2018. The Seawolves started hot, winning four of their first five games. They earned a 4-4 record in the American East, falling to UMBC in PKs (8-7) in the conference tournament. Last season was also Stony Brook's last in the American East before moving to the CAA this season.
> The Seawolves started 2022 well again, winning three of their first four. Since those first four matches, Stony Brook has lost eight of nine, with the lone victory coming 2-0 against College of Charleston.
 > Jonas Bickus has far and away been the player to watch for Stony Brook this season. The sophomore forward leads the Seawolves in both goals (6) and assists (3). Recently, senior goalkeeper Edmond Kaiser and freshman Jon Jelercic claimed CAA weekly awards as Goalkeeper and Freshman of the Week, respectively.
> Ryan Anatol leads Stony Brook in his 12th season. Six of his years on Long Island have been above .500, including an 11 win campaign in his second season. He is 79-93-26 overall.
