Women’s Soccer Earns Team Fair Play Award, Parker Named to AAC All-Rookie Team

IRVING, Texas – Temple women's soccer earned two regular season honors as announced by the league office Wednesday morning. The program earned the Team Fair Play Award, followed by individual recognition for freshman Aurrianna Parker, who earned a spot on the AAC All-Rookie Team.
The Team Fair Play Award goes to the team with the fewest accumulated fouls, yellow cards and red cards in league action. The Cherry and White recorded just six yellow cards, and no red cards, along with 120 fouls to serve as the lowest in the conference in all categories.
Parker, a native of Las Vegas, Nev., had a standout first season in Cherry and White. The rookie made an immediate impact playing in 14 games with eight starts. Parker worked tirelessly on the attacking third of the field, clocking 556 minutes. Her efforts did not go unnoticed as she joined eleven other first-year players across the conference on the AAC All-Rookie team.
