Men's Basketball Closes Non-Conference Slate at Home Tuesday with Maryland Eastern Shore

PHILADELPHIA - Temple closes out the non-conference portion of its schedule at the Liacouras Center Tuesday with a first-ever meeting against Maryland Eastern Shore (7 pm/ESPN+/1210 AM WPHT).  The Owls (6-6) will be looking to snap a two-game losing streak while the Hawks (4-7) are in search of their first road win of the season.

SCOUTING TEMPLE
> Khalif Battle leads the team and ranks third in the American Athletic Conference in scoring (19.0 ppg) and has scored 20 points in seven games including four of his seven starts. He also leads the AAC in threes with 37 (3.1 pg) and is tied for 29th nationally, while shooting 36.3 percent (9th AAC).
> Damian Dunn ranks second on the team in scoring (15.1 ppg), assists (2.7), field goal percentage (.440) and minutes per game (33.8).  He tallied a career-high 38 points in the Owls' 89-87 overtime loss to Vanderbilt. That is the most points by a TU player since 2004.  He leads the Owls (tied 19th in NCAA) in free throws made (56).
> Zach Hicks (8.8 ppg, 4.8 rpg), who leads the Owls in three-pointg shooting (27-74, .365) and Hysier Miller (7.8 ppg., 4.3 apg/4th AAC) have started all 12 games while Kur Jongkuch (1.2 ppg, 2.4 rpg) made his first start of the season in place of injured big man Jamille Reynolds. 
> Jahlil White (3.3 ppg, 4.3 rpg) and Nick Jourdain (4.0 ppg, 3.6 rpg, 1.1 bpg.) are the Owls top reserves. 

SCOUTING UMES
> Zion Styles leads the Hawks in scoring (11.3 ppg) while ranking second in rebounding (3.6 rpg) while Keyvon Voyles (10.6 ppg.) also averages double figures.
> Da'Shawn Phillip averages 9.5 points per game while leading the team in three-pointers (16).
> Nathaniel Pollard Jr. (8.0 ppg) is one of three Hawks to start all 11 games.  He leads the team in rebounding (7.2 rpg.)
> Ahamadou Fofana (6.4 ppg) runs the offense, topping the team in assists with 25.
