2.18.22 | Men's Basketball
CINCINNATI - Temple will look to complete a rare sweep of Cincinnati when the Owls take on the Bearcats Sunday (2 pm/ESPN2/1210 AM WPHT) at Fifth Third Arena.
Temple's only regular season sweep in the series came during the 2015-16 while Cincinnati had won nine straight meetings prior to the Owls' 61-58 win on Jan. 28.
This is a key game in both teams hopes of securing a first-round bye in the American Athletic Conference Championship. The Owls (14-9, 7-5 AAC) are currently in fifth place and one-half game ahead of the Bearcats (17-9, 7-6 AAC). Only the top five teams earn first round byes to the Championship which begins on March 10 in Fort Worth, Texas.
