2.19.22 | Women's Gymnastics
Elmore and Martineau are the sixth and seventh recruits to the latest signing class
PHILADELPHIA – Madisson Elmore and Cloe Martineau are the latest additions to Head Gymnastics Coach Josh Nilson’s 2022 Temple signing class.

Elmore trains with Starlight Gymnastics and has been a Level 10 since 2017. The Brunswick, Ga. native, has six all-around victories as an L10, and in late January 2022, she picked up her most recent all-around win at the Sand Dollar Invitational, where she had first-place finishes on the vault, bars, and beam. Overall, as a Level 10, Elmore has 53 top-three finishes between all four rotations. In addition, she’s earned seven victories on the vault, three times on the uneven bars, two on the beam, and two on the floor. In the classroom, Elmore will graduate from Glynn Academy in the spring of 2022 with the highest honors after four consecutive years of being named to the honor roll as an A+ student.
Madisson is an extremely powerful and vibrant gymnast. I expect her to make an immediate impact in the all-around for our program. She came to campus and was a perfect fit for us in every way. She instantly connected with the team and staff and has a personality that lights the room up when she enters. We are excited to have her joining the Temple Family next season.Head Coach Josh Nilson

Martineau trains with Unigym Gatineau and is an elite-level gymnast. The native of Gatineau, Quebec, has been named club team gymnast of the year on two occasions and qualified for the Canadian National Championships in the all-around four times. Cloe was recently invited to compete at the Gymnastic Canada Next Gen Camp. During the 2020 shortened season, Cloe finished in first place in the all-around, vault and the beam at Sand Dollar Invitational as a JO10. In 2019, Martineau filled her resume with a third-place overall finish at the Quebec Championships. Cloe would go on to finish second on the bars, second on the floor, and fourth on the vault during that competition. During that same season, her team would end at the Canadian National Championships in second-place and won a Gold Team Canadian Championship. Out of the gym, Martineau has been an excellent steward to her community as she was named City of Gatineau Volunteer of the Year.
Cloe is an Elite Level Gymnast from Canada. She came to campus to meet the team and participate in our fall open enrollment camps. Unfortunately, many great Canadian gymnasts have been overlooked due to a lack of competition due to shutdowns in the last two years. Cloe is one of those athletes that is exceptionally talented! We believe she will contribute in the all-around for us here at Temple. We are excited to welcome her to the Temple family!Head Coach Josh Nilson
