Women's Gymnastics Tabbed with Nine 2022 All-EAGL Selections

PHILADELPHIA – On Monday, six Temple gymnastics team members earned nine 2022 All-East Gymnastic League (EAGL) honors, announced by the league.
 
"This group of athletes' hard work and dedication continues to show, especially with the representation of this year's All-EAGL team selections. Whether it be school records or academic success, this team puts in the work to be successful each and every day," said head coach Josh Nilson. "They represent the University, the department, and the team very well. We are proud of them!"
 
Seniors Ariana Castrence and Julianna Roland and freshman Hannah Stallings led the Owls team with a pair All-EAGL honors. Both Castrence and Roland earned first-team selections on the vault and second-team selections on the beam, while Stallings added a first-team selection in the all-around and a second-team selection on the beam.
 
Fifth year gymnasts Faith Leary and Tori Edwards with sophomore Brooke Donabedian earned selections on the floor for Temple. Edwards and Donabedian earned first-team selections, while Leary added a second-team honor.
 
The first-team All-EAGL on each event and in the all-around consists of the top eight ranked gymnasts (including ties) from the 10 week regular season. The second-team All-EAGL consists of the No. 9 to No. 16 ranked gymnasts (including ties) from the regular season.

The Cherry and White are back in action on Saturday competing at the 2022 EAGL Championships at George Washington University.
