Track & Field Announces Outdoor Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – After the conclusion of the indoor season, the Temple women's track and field team turns its attention to the outdoor season throughout the next few months. The Owls are looking to build off their impressive 2021 outdoor season which saw them record their highest-ever finish at the 2021 American Athletic Conference Outdoor Championship with a third-place finish with a program-best 81 points.
The Cherry & White open the outdoor campaign with a trip to Orlando, Fla. for the UCF Black & Gold Invite on Mar. 18-19 followed by the Raleigh Relays in North Carolina on Mar. 26-27.
The next two weeks see the Owls compete in Philadelphia at Penn's Franklin Field on April 2nd for the Big 5 Meet, and then at home at the Temple Sports Complex for the Temple Invite on April 8th.
A quick trip to New Jersey on Apr. 15-16 for the Larry Ellis Invitational at Princeton precedes the Virginia Challenge in Charlottesville, Va. From Apr. 22-23. The regular season concludes with another trip to Franklin Field for the Penn Relays on Apr. 28-30.
After an off week, TU begins its postseason with the AAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Wichita, Kan. From May 13-15.
A good showing at the conference championships could land Temple's athletes in Bloomington, Ind. for the NCAA Regional Track & Field First Round on May 26-28, and again at the NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in Oregon from June 9-12.
