Gymnastics' Roland And Donabedian Selected to the NCAA Raleigh Regionals

PHILADELPHIAÂ - The Temple women's gymnastics team will be represented at the 2022 NCAA Gymnastics Regionals on March 30-April 2, in Raleigh, N.C., by Julianna Roland and Brooke Donabedian.

Roland earned a second straight NCAA Regionals selection on the vault with the second-best NQS in the EAGL, the eighth-best NQS in the northeast region, and top 100 nationally at a 9.855. Â The senior earned eight 9.8s or better in 2022, including breaking the school record on the vault with a 9.925 on Feb. 25 at No. 29 at NC State. To end the conference season, the Lumberton, N.J. native, was honored with First Team All-EAGL and EAGL First Team All-Tournament Team selections.

This will be Donabedian's first-ever appearance at the NCAA Regionals. The Maple Valley, Wash. native is coming off a regular season where she tied the school record with a 9.950, making her one of three gymnasts in the EAGL to earn that score. Overall, Donabedian is ranked second in the EAGL and has the 10th-best NQS in the northeast region with a 9.890. On the season, the sophomore has tallied a 9.900 or better on three occasions and a 9.800 or better 11 times. Donabedian was honored with First Team All-EAGL and EAGL First Team All-Tournament Team selections.
