Davis Named WBCA All-America Region Finalist

ATLANTA - The Women's Basketball Coaches Association announced today the region finalists for 2022 WBCA NCAA Division I Coaches' All-America. Temple forward Mia Davis was included on the list of 52 finalists. The selection committee will choose the 10-member Coaches' All-America team from these finalists.
Davis enjoyed a spectacular 2021-22 season for the Cherry & White, leading the American Athletic Conference in points per game (18.8), field-goal percentage (48.5%), and free throws made (134) on her way to becoming the program's all-time leading scorer. In addition to this, Davis led the team in rebounding (7.3) as she became just the third player in program history to record 1,000 career rebounds. Davis recorded six double-doubles as she earned an AAC Player of the Week award and was named to the AAC Honor Roll nine times throughout the season.
Davis, a unanimous selection to the All-AAC First Team, is one of only two players (Diamond Battles) from the AAC to be named as a finalist.
For 40 years, the Women's Basketball Coaches Association has been the professional association for coaches of women's and girls' basketball at all levels of competition.
