Three Owls Finish in the Top Five at Princeton Invitational

PRINCETON, N.J. – Dawson Anders, Conor McGrath, and Graham Chase all finished in the top five at the 34th Annual Princeton Invitational Sunday to lead Temple to a fourth-place finish among the 15-team field. The Owls shot a one-over 853 for the two-day, 54-hole tournament held at the par-71, 6,456-yard Springdale Golf Club.
Recapping the Round
> McGrath had a team-high five birdies posting his 11th round in the 60s this season with a two-under 69. He finished the tournament at second overall with a four-under 209.
> Chase posted his second-best round of the season with a two-under 69, courtesy of three birdies. He carded a one-under 212 to tie for fifth overall for the tournament.
> Anders shot a one-under 70 for his final round to finish the tournament with his best three-round score of the season, firing a three-under 210 to finish third overall.
> Ethan Whitney had three birdies in the round and shot a three-over 74 on the day. He finished the tournament tied for 46th overall.
> Buddy Hansen carded a four-over 75 on the day, finishing the tournament tied for 54th overall.
The Field
> Princeton's A Team won the tournament title with a seven-under 845, one shot better than their B Team. Seton Hall finished in third with an even-par 852.
> Princeton's William Huang shot a 10-under 203 to win the tournament by six strokes over McGrath.
