Men’s Tennis Remains Unbeaten at Home After Downing George Mason, 4-0

PHILADELPHIA – Temple men's tennis (11-8) extended their home win streak in 2022 to eight after downing George Mason, 4-0 on Sunday morning. The Owls have secured two wins at the TU Pavilion, while the rest came at the Hecht Tennis Center and Cherry Hill Racquet Club. 
 
Notes 
  • While the third position in doubles play went unfinished, the performances of Marin Delmas and Louis Gorregues in the No. 1 spot and Gregoire Barety and Hussein El-Tawil in the No. 2 position earned the Owls the team doubles point. 
  • Delmas, Barety and Henrqiue Petiz stepped up in singles play, earning individual wins to advance the Owls to four points. 
  • The remaining three positions (1,5,6) went unfinished, leaving the Patriots scoreless.

"I'm very happy with our effort today," head coach Steve Mauro said. "The weather wasn't ideal, but we fought through it to earn the win over a quality George Mason team."
