Women’s Tennis Drops to No. 48 Tulsa to End Regular Season Play

TULSA, Okla. – Temple women's tennis (11-5) fell to American Athletic Conference opponent, Tulsa (15-7), 6-1 on Sunday afternoon. The match served as the final regular season competition for the Cherry and White before heading in to the AAC Tournament next week.

- The Owls put up a hard fight in doubles play, playing the Golden Hurricane close in the No. 1 and No. 2 positions before ultimately dropping 6-3 in each.
- Freshman standout Veronika Kulhava earned the Owls a spot on the board after clinching a 6-4, 6-1 win from the No. 4 spot.
- The Golden Hurricane collected the remaining five points in singles play to close out the day with a 6-1 win.
