PHILADELPHIA – Temple women's tennis (9-4) earned their sixth sweep of the season on Saturday morning in a dominant 7-0 showing over Binghamton at the TU Pavilion (0-18).

Notes

The Owls dominated doubles play, earning victories from all three positions, winning 6-0 from the No. 1 spot, 6-1 from the No. 2 spot and 6-0 from the No. 3 spot.
The Cherry and White transitioned into singles play with the same intensity, securing wins from all six positions to hold the Bearcats scoreless.

"We have been playing some great tennis the past few weeks," head coach Steve Mauro said. "It's really great to see our effort in practice translating to our performance on the court. We have some important matches coming up in the next few weeks so we are looking to keep that momentum going."

The Owls will remain at home, as they host city foe, Drexel on Apr. 8 at the TU Pavilion. The match is set for 11 a.m. and will serve as senior day for the Owls.
