Women's Rowing Gears Up For 2022 Eastern Sprints

WORCESTER, Mass. — The Temple women's rowing team will be competing at Eastern Sprints on Lake Quinsigamond in Worcester, Mass. on Sunday. Heats will take place in the morning from 8:00 am – 10:10 am with the finals from 12:00 pm – 3:50 pm.
The race will include 20 teams from highly competitive programs. The teams competing include Boston College, Boston University, Brown, Colgate, Holy Cross, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Drexel, Georgetown, Gordon, Marist, Northeastern, Princeton, Radcliffe, Rutgers, UMass, Rhode Island, and Wisconsin.
Sprints History
>In 2018 the Owls earned the program's first-ever Sprints medal, as the second varsity four finished with a silver.
>In 2019, Temple matched the program's record with a silver medal in the fourth varsity eight race, while also compiling three fourth place finishes.
