The 2022 Rookie of the Year is Hannah Stallings!

A native of Raleigh, N.C., Stallings had a spectacular freshman season for the Owls. A consistent performer on vault, bars, beam, and floor, she hit season bests of 9.825 or better on each event. The freshman helped the team break or tie three team records, including tying the floor record with a 49.375, breaking the overall team record with a 196.675, and the vault record with a 49.200. Stallings started out the season winning by five straight all-around titles, including tying the fourth-highest all-around score in team history with a 39.275. During the 2022 season, Hannah contributed 45 total routines for the Owls, the most on the team. She won eight times, including five all-around titles, one on the beam, and two on vault where she scored 9.900s each time. During the Jan. 7, Keystone Classic, Stallings earned her first event award with a victory on the beam. With her success, Stallings went onto win a 2022 First Team All-EAGL for the all-around and Second Team for the beam. Hannah wrapped her first season with the Owls with an EAGL All-Tournament Second Team.
