Deuce Roberts Signs National Letter of Intent to Play Men’s Basketball at Temple

PHILADELPHIA – Deuce Roberts, a 6-7, 185-pound guard from St. Michael the Archangel High in Lee's Summit, Mo., has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Temple University, announced head coach Aaron McKie.
"We are excited to welcome Deuce Roberts to the Temple Basketball family," said McKie. "Deuce is an athletic guard who can play the point or a wing. He has good perimeter range and can attack the basket. He fits nicely with our program."
Roberts, a two-time Missouri Basketball Coaches Association All-State selection, averaged 24 points, six rebounds and five assists per game during his senior season in leading St. Michael the Archangel to its second straight district championship. As a junior, he averaged 16.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game.
Roberts is the first true freshman in the Owls' 2022 recruiting class. He joins transfers Kur Jongkuch (Northern Colorado), Jamille Reynolds (UCF) and Taj Thweatt (Coastal Carolina/West Virginia) as the team's newcomers for the 2022-23 season.
