Joyce Named to PhillySIDA Academic All-Area Team

PHILADELPHIA - After excelling both on the track and in the classroom, the Philadelphia Sports Information Directors Association (PhillySIDA) announced today that Temple's Michelle Joyce was named to the Academic All-Area Team.
In order to be eligible for Academic All-Area, a student-athlete must be in his or her second year at the institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.30 or better.
Joyce has enjoyed a stellar year in the classroom, being named to Temple's Trustee Ten which recognizes the student-athletes with the top 10 GPAs in the department with a minimum of 60 credit hours. In addition, Joyce was named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team as well as the CoSIDA All-District Team.
Joyce is joined on the 2022 PhillySIDA Academic All-Area Women's Track & Field Team by Performer of the Year Anna Cooney of Widener; Mary Bernotas of Eastern; Nora Blodgett, Adria Retter, and Rose Teszler of Swarthmore; Rachel Conoff and Isabelle Deal of Ursinus; Liz Mancini of La Salle; and Siobhan McShea of Gwynedd Mercy.
