11 Rowers Named CRCA National Scholar-Athletes

PHILADELPHIA - The Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association announced today that 11 rowers of the Temple women's rowing program were named 2022 National Scholar-Athletes. The 11 rowers named is the most in program history.

Meghan Arters, Emma Berry, Lily Bielinski, Gabby DiMarco, Riley Gorman, Maggie Page, Aarohi Patel, Kendyll Petronick, Lauren Phongphachone, Morgan Simpson, and Elaine Tierney all received the honor.

In order to be named a CRCA Scholar-Athlete, a student-athlete must be in their 2nd, 3rd, or 4th year of eligibility while competing in their institution's NCAA or IRA eligible boat for a minimum of 75% of the current spring races or racing in a regional conference event. In addition, the student-athlete must have had a 3.5 cumulative GPA or higher for her career.
