Three Temple Student-Athletes Selected as Team IMPACT Fellows

PHILADELPHIA – Three Temple University student-athletes – Sydney Beck (field hockey), Trey Blair (football) and Taylor Davenport (volleyball) – have been selected to be Team IMPACT Fellows for the 2022-23 academic year.

Temple has been active with Team IMPACT, a national nonprofit that connects children facing serious and chronic illnesses with college athletic teams, forming life-long bonds and life-changing outcomes, for the past decade. Currently three Temple athletics teams (men's basketball, dance and football) have Team IMPACT youths on their rosters with two more teams (men's soccer and volleyball) in the process of adding a Team IMPACT youth.

As Fellows, Beck, Blair and Davenport will represent Team IMPACT on Temple's campus and collaborate with the athletic department and greater campus community to raise awareness and increase program participation. Only schools like Temple, which sponsors two or more Team IMPACT youths, are able to sponsor Fellows.
