Women's Cross Country Set to Open Season at Lehigh Invitational

PHILADELPHIAÂ - The Temple women's cross country is set to open their 2022 season at the Lehigh Invitiational in Bethlehem, Pa. on Friday, Sept. 2. The race marks the first of four races in the regular season before the Owls head into the American Athletic Conference Championships.
The Owls are set to compete at 6:15 p.m. on Friday at the 6k Goodman Campus Cross Country Course.Â
About the Lehigh Invitational
"While the student-athletes continue to get acclimated to their class schedules and new training, this first race is a great opportunity to see where we are at. I know our runners are excited to compete just as I am excited to watch them compete. This season has the potential to be very special as we lay the foundation for the future. I'm looking forward to a great season as the athletes continue to build layers of fitness week to week and gain competitive race experience."
