Gymnastics Adds Budd to 2023 Signing Class

PHILADELPHIA - On Tuesday, Temple head gymnastics coach Josh Nilson announced the signing of Amelia Budd to the Class of 2023 signing class.
Budd joins Nilson's 2023 class that includes Gabby Linden, Skylar Shafran, Gianna Silva, Maya Keller, and Megan White.

Amelia Budd is a level 10 gymnasts from Charlotte, N.C. and trains with the Southeastern Gymnastics Center. Over the past two years, Budd has excelled, qualifying for the North Carolina State Championship, Southeast Regionals, and the Eastern qualifier. In 2022, Budd had three top five finishes in the all-around, three top five finishes on the uneven bars, and two top five finishes on the both the vault and floor, including a third-place finish on the floor during the Southeast Regionals. Outside of the gym, Budd is a honors student in the subjects of english and math, while being enrolled in advance prep macroeconomics, earth science, and psychology courses. Budd is also involved in the clubs such as Bambinos Baseball, Own Your Vote, and the Unified Club.
