Jasha Clinton Named to AAC and Big 5 Honor Roll

PHILADELPHIA – Temple guard Jasha Clinton has been named to the American Athletic Conference and Big 5 Weekly Honor Roll for the week of 1/9. This is the first time this season Clinton has been honored by the American and the second straight week she has been recognized by the Big 5.
Clinton led Temple in scoring in each of the Owls' two games this week. On Tuesday against South Florida, she put up a team-best 14 points, alongside 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and a game-high three steals. In Saturday's win over Cincinnati, Clinton had a career day. The guard put up a personal-best 28 points to lead all scorers to go with a game-high six assists and two boards. Clinton averaged 21.0 points, 4.5 assists, and 3.0 rebounds this week
Temple returns to action this Wednesday as the Owls host East Carolina for the annual School Day Game. The game will be streamed on ESPN+. Tickets are available at Owlstix.com.
