10.10.23 | Men's Soccer
The two led the Owls to their first win of 2023 last week.
PHILADELPHIA- Temple men's soccer's Felix Ewald and Aaron Markowitz have garnered recognition from the American Athletic Conference and Philly Soccer Six for their performances last week vs. FAU. Ewald was named Philly Soccer Six Player of the Week and was listed on the AAC's Weekly Honor Roll, while Markowitz was named to the Philly Soccer Six Weekly Honor Roll.
Ewald converted on both of his shot attempts for Temple against FAU, good for the first multi-goal game by an Owl this season. He leads the team in goals, points, and shots, with all of his points coming in the last three games. He was also named Temple's Athlete of the Week for his efforts. Markowitz scored Temple's first goal against FAU, and his defensive efforts helped the Cherry and White secure its second shutout of the season.
The Owls are back in action tonight when they take on No. 18 Syracuse on the road at 7:00pm. The match will be streamed on ACC Network X.
