Field Hockey Tops Georgetown, 2-1

TOWSON, Md. - The Temple field hockey team snapped a four-game losing streak Friday afternoon with a 2-1 victory over Georgetown. The Owls now sit 6-7 (2-3 BIG EAST) with five games left in the regular season.
Recapping the Game
> Temple had several chances to jump ahead early, firing six shots on three back-to-back penalty corners, but couldn't find the back of the cage.
> Alizé Maes scored the go-ahead goal at the 16-minute mark, connecting off a pass from Caitlyn Amsden and Julia Bunch to put Temple on the board.
> The Hoyas found the equalizer just five minutes later as the team's leading scorer Vivienne Trumpbour snuck past Molly Frey to tie the game up at the half.
> TU retook the lead late in the third quarter, with Agustina Tucceri converting a corner attempt with less than two minutes left in the frame.
> The Cherry and White defended a pair of Georgetown corners, including one with 30 seconds left on the clock, to seal the win.

> Amber Hofenk Jerembo fired four shots to lead the team.
