PHILADELPHIA - The Temple men's soccer team battled to a 1-1 draw on Saturday, picking up their fifth point in AAC action. Juan Zepeda provided the offense for the Owls, scoring off an assist from Elias Betancourt in the first half.
How it Happened
> Temple scored less than eight minutes into the game, as Betancourt reeled in a loose ball and found Zepeda for the goal.
> The first half was largely a defensive battle, with only three shots on goal combined between the two teams.
> USF got on the board early in the second, converting off a corner kick opportunity in the 46th minute.
> The Bulls fired off 12 total shots in the second, but were only able to score on the first.
