Owls' three game unbeaten streak snapped.
STONY BROOK, N.Y. - The Temple men's soccer team closed its non-conference schedule with a 2-1 loss to Stony Brook on Tuesday night, snapping a three-game unbeaten streak. Felix Ewald scored the lone goal for the Owls.
How it Happened
> Both teams battled to a scoreless first half. The Seawolves outshot Temple 10-2.
> Ewald started the scoring with his goal in the 64th minute. Lleyton Imparato picked up the assist.
> Stony Brook tied and took the lead in less than three minutes, scoring in the 71st and 74th minutes.
Game Notes
> Ewald's goal was his fourth of the season, a team high. He is also the first Owl to hit ten points on the season.
> Flannan Riley made six saves on eight shots on goal.
> Five yellow cards were issued in the match, four coming against Temple.
