Women’s Rowing takes top finishes at Head of the Schuylkill Regatta

PHILADELPHIA — The Temple Women's Rowing team competed at the 53rd Annual Head of the Schuylkill Regatta on Saturday, October 29. The Owls raced five boats, three of which saw podium finishes.
The Temple Freshman 8 led the way, placing first overall out of 19 boats with a time of 14:01.33.
The Owls placed second overall in the Championship 8, recording a time of 12:54.48 to place second out of 13 boats competing. The Temple Club Championship 8+ A boat placed second overall out of 32 boats, clocking in at 13:41.32.
In the women's championship 4, Temple finished with a time of 15:54.68 to place 24th out of 52. The Owls' Club Championship 8+ B boat placed 10th out of 42 boats with a time of 14:02.93.
