Owls in contention for final playoff spots.
DALLAS, Tex. - The Temple men's soccer team will close the regular season. Wednesday when they travel to Dallas to take on #4 SMU. The Owls are coming off a 5-1 win over Tulsa last Friday and find themselves in the thick of the playoff hunt. The Owls find themselves sixth in the AAC standings at 2-3-2, good for eight points. They hold the final postseason spot by one point over USF and two points over Tulsa with one match left for each team. Full playoff scenarios are listed below.

> Felix Ewald was named AAC Player of the Week on Monday after his two goal, five point performance on Friday vs. Tulsa. It was the second weekly honor this season for Ewald, who set a career high in points with the effort.
> Ewald is now fourth in the American with six goals and 19 points and third with five assists. All but three of those points came during October.
> The Owls finished October with a 3-2-1 overall record, 2-1-1 in conference. It was their first month over .500 since 2019.
