Former Temple MBB Player Jan Post Tragically Killed in Car Accident

PHILADELPHIA – Former Temple University men's basketball player Jan Post was tragically killed in a car accident on October 7 in Bucks County, Pa. He was 55.
A native of Bunschoten, Holland, Mr. Post played two seasons at Temple, and was a part of the 1990-91 team that posted a 24-10 record and advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight.
Mr. Post, who resided in Lansdale, Pa., is survived by his former wife, Stacey, and their three children, Jonathan, Colin, and Julia, as well as his father, Jan and brother Derk.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held from 1:00 to 5:00 PM on Sunday, Oct. 22 with a Celebration of Life Service at 1:30 PM at The Centennial Caterong and Conference Center, 3350 Center Valley Parkway, Center Valley, PA. Interment will be private.
