TE David Martin-Robinson made history for the Owls, becoming just the third Temple tight end to eclipse 1,000 career receiving yards. Martin-Robinson caught seven passes for 102 receiving yards, marking the third time he has caught 100 or more yards in a single game in his career. Martin-Robinson's 1,097 career receiving yards passed Jeff Stempel (1,034) for second in the all-time list of receiving yards by a Temple tight end. He also tied Randy Grossman with 89 catches, the most in a career by an Owls' tight end.
QB E.J. Warner, who finished with 280 passing yards and three touchdowns, threw for 199 yards in the second half to help Temple's comeback attempt.
Temple's defense had one of its best games of the season, holding the Bulls to no offensive points in the entire second half. The Owls set season highs with six sacks and 13 tackles for loss. Temple's 13 tackles for loss as a team is the most recorded in a game since the Owls recorded 15 tackles for loss in Week 2 of the 2022 season against Lafayette. The Owls' six sacks are the most since Temple recorded seven sacks in Week 7 of the 2022 season against Tulsa.
LB Yvandy Rigby led the Owls with 16 total tackles, tying a career high mark. SAF Alex Odom also tied a career high in total tackles with 12 against USF (ironically, his high mark was also at USF in 2021).
