Ines Piper Named to First Big 5 Honor Roll of Season

PHILADELPHIA - Temple women's basketball forward Ines Piper has been named to the Big 5 Weekly Honor Roll for the week ending 11/12. The French forward leads the Owls in scoring (11.0 ppg), rebounds (8.3 rpg), and blocks (1.4 bpg). She recorded her first career D1 double-double in Temple's record setting 66 point win over Delaware State on Monday. Piper ranks 15th nationally and first in the AAC in total rebounds (25) and is 26th and leading the AAC in total blocks (5). Her three blocks in Saturday's 77-53 win over Bucknell are the most a Temple player has recorded since she put up six against Houston last season.
 
The Owls will be back in action Wednesday against No. 23 Ole Miss (7:30 EST, SEC Network+).
