Men's Crew Mourns the Loss of Michael Quinn

PHILADELPHIA - Temple University mourns the passing of former Crew member Michael Quinn.
 
Mr. Quinn, who rowed for the Owls from 1981-1984, was a member of the 1983 and 1984 team that won the program's first two Dad Vail Varsity Eight championships. He also competed with the 1980 U.S. Men's Junior 8+ team and the 1984 U.S. Men's Lightweight 8+ team.
 
After his rowing career, Mr. Quinn graduated from Temple University Beasley School of Law and was an attorney at the Quinn and Quinn law office. 
 
A viewing was held on Friday February 17 at Boyd-Horrox-Givnish Life Celebration Home in Norristown. A funeral mass was held February 18 at St. Thomas of Villanova church in Villanova.
 
Mr. Quinn is survived by his wife, Maria, his three children, Molly Elizabeth, Christian Patitucci Quinn and Michael Patrick.
