Women’s Soccer Announces 2023 Spring Schedule

PHILADELPHIA – After over four months since the Owls fall season, Temple women's soccer has announced their schedule for 2023 spring ball. The Owls are set to face a competitive string of opponents across three different exhibitions in addition to participating in the Philadelphia City Six Tournament.
The Cherry and White will open play on Mar. 1, hosting city rival, La Salle in the Aramark STAR building for 7 vs. 7 tournament style play. This matchup will serve as the only home competition of the spring. The Explorers posted an 8-8-2 record in 2022, which included a 3-6-1 conference record.
The Owls will take an 18-day hiatus following the Mar. 1 matchup, finding their next competition on Mar. 19. Temple will travel to Delaware where they will face off against the Blue Hens at 2 p.m.
In the final head-to-head exhibition of spring, the Owls will travel to Rider on Apr. 1. The Broncs, an opponent the Cherry and White saw in the regular season and secured a 0-0 draw against, posted an 8-7-3 record which included a trip to the MAAC Tournament. Game time is set for 2 p.m.
In the last competition of the spring season, the Owls will participate in tournament play, traveling to the Philadelphia City Six Tournament on Apr. 16 which is set to be hosted on the campus of Penn.
